Topic Decided

Alright, I did it! I made a decision!
I am a horrible decision maker. I admit I would rather jsut go along with the crowd, I'm very quiet until I get comfortable and know a person well enough. So the fact that I made a decision (let's forget the fact that I HAD too) means I should get a prize or something.

I had talked to my mom a few days ago and she was jsut babbling on and on about all of the things she found that we can do when we go to Vancouver next summer. Backing up a few steps, my husband is a police officer and will be participating in the World Police and Fire Games. It happens every two years and will next be in Aug of 2009 in Vancouver. My mom was feeling down about Grandma getting sick really fast and she wanted to go away for their 30th anniversary and couldnt' decide where, so they didn't go anywhere. So I said it wasn't for a while but why don't you come with us.

So we are starting to make decision about flights and where we are staying. And she is starting to look at places to go and things to do. Well her exctiement is becoming a little catching and I figure if I didn't have some motivation to research these things it would wait until the last minute and then I would miss something.

So decision made---I am going to look into an almost travel guide/plan, etc. for Vancouver.

Topics...Oh I don't know

Okay so I have no idea what type of topic I want to look into. My husband is participating in the World Police and Fire Games this summer in Vancouver and I thought about doing something with the traveling to Vancouver....what there is do to, cheap ways of getting there, where to stay, etc. I don't know if that would work for this though. I thought something about time management or organization but I don't have time to think about that, haha! I seem to be getting nostalgic in my old age (yes I'm under 30) and both my grandmothers knitted, the one taught me when I was young, nothing fancy just a row and I wouldn't even know where to start now. I would kind of like to know how to actually knit since they really can't anymore and the one has always made Christmas stockings for all new family members ......sure I could do that in all of my free time. Okay so I like the travel guide idea and knitting. Anything else might jsut put me over the edge!

My son feels like he needs to "eat this now wit a big spoon" so I guess that means I'm donw for now :)

Getting started

I don't think that I have ever had to set up and keep up a blog before!

I have no idea of where to start even thinking of a topic to do an inquiry on. But the blog is set up, I think and we are about to find out for sure. Hopefully in the next few days I will have an epifany and all will be well.

I am currently taking two classes and working so the world is currently operating on a day by day rotation :)
